Next time you think you’re having a bad day just remember you could have one leg stuck in a sinkhole.
It happened to someone August 29th in Brooklyn New York,true story.
Steven Suarez was crossing an intersection to return to work after his lunch break when the ground gave way and his right leg fell into a small sinkhole.
Suarez told CBS 2 News he fell straight down into the hole and landed on his tailbone and he felt a lot of pain
he said "I thought I was going to fall straight through the ground completely.
One witness described the event as shocking but add “ It is New York anything can happen."
Firefighters pulled Suarez out of the hole after an hour he reportedly walked away with only one shoe and a hairline fracture.
The city patched the hole and is investigating the situation.
