A two-year study in the Amazon has revealed 381 new species.

The findings were announced Aug. 30 in a report by the WWF and Mamiraur Institute for Sustainable Development.

The newly discovered species include more than 200 plants, almost 100 fish and 20 mammals.

That’s thought to be the fastest rate of discovery in the past century.

The survey was carried out in 2014 and 2015.

But researchers warned that the good news comes with a caveat.

They say the recently discovered species are vulnerable to human activity.
