A storm in India damaged the Taj Mahal, it also killed more than five people in Uttar Pradesh States and uprooted many electrical poles and trees.
Two minarets on Taj Mahal’s entry gates collapsedafter winds reaching up to 130 kilometers an hour pushed them down, however, the four minarets surrounding the main structure are safe.
Times of India reported a minaret that is a portion of the main gateway titled the Wazza-e-rauza was part of the structure to show significant damage.
Work has already started to fix them.
The 17th century mausoleum has taken steps to enhance its preservation efforts.
With more than 12,000 visitors a day, people can only stay there for the maximum of three hours to prevent overcrowding and further deterioration.
On top of visitors, the Archaeological Survey of India have addressed issues involving monkeys afterthey were suspected of weakening some of the structure.
