A Chinese tourist learned a painful lesson about feeding wild animals.
The man, surnamed Chen, was visiting Badaling Wildlife World near Beijing on Aug. 18th.
He and a friend were driving through the Malay bear enclosure when the animals started to approach their car.
Despite it being against the rules, Chen rolled down his window to feed the bears.
But it didn’t exactly go how he had planned.
Chen told the Beijing Evening News that he tried to roll his window back up but that it got stuck.
A bear then lunged through the open window, biting him in the shoulder.
He told the newspaper they were “scared senseless,"Chen was taken to hospital but only suffered minor injuries.
Following the incident, authorities told the park to ramp up safety measures.
The park made international headlines last year after a woman was mauled to death by a tiger there after she got out of her car.
