The driver of a tour bus carrying Texas high school students has died after a crash in Alabama.
The accident happened on March 13th as the bus was traveling to Houston Texas on Interstate 10.
According to the Alabama Highway Patrol, the bus careened near the highways median in Baldwin County and fell into a 50-foot ravine.
The tour bus company, First Class Tours identified that driver as employee Harry Callaghan.
The bus was carrying band students from Channelview high school after a trip to Walt Disney World.
Channelview ISD superintendent Greg Ollis noted forty students and six adults were on the bus at the time of the crash.
KPRC reports multiple passengers were injured and one is listed in critical condition.
The National Transportation Safety Board will send six investigators to look into the crash, at this time, the cause of the accident is unknown.
