Now on that note, let’s take a look at the markets starting in the United States.
The S&P500 and the Nasdaq fell on Thursday as the tech sector snapped a rally and investors turned to safer bets.
The Dow bucked the downward trend though.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average that added 95 points or 0.4 percent to 25,241 as you can see the S&P 500 that dipped a touch to 2770,the tech-heavy Nasdaq that took the biggest hit as you can see falling 0.7% to 7635.
Here in Korea stocks closed higher for a fifth session in a row on Thursday as US lawmakers moved to restrict president Trump’s authority on imposing tariffs.
The benchmark KOSPI jumped nearly 17 points or 0.7 percent to close at 2470.
The secondary KOSDAQ as you can see at the bottom there that was up one and a quarter percent at 888.
