Brazil’s former president Dilma Rousseff accuses her ex-vice president of accepting a bribe.
Rousseff’s lawyers filed court documents on Nov.10th,claiming Michel Temer took a large bribe from Otavio Azeve, the former CEO of construction firm Andrade Gutierrez.
罗塞夫的律师团队在11月10号周四向法院上交材料，指控米歇尔·特梅尔从Otavio Azeve获得一笔巨大的贿款，Otavio Azevedo是Andrade Gutierrez建筑公司的总裁。
The country’s top electoral court has been investigating whether or not Rousseff used illegal funds in her 2014 re-election campaign.
If so,Rousseff’s win could be reversed, which means Temer, who became president after Rouseff was impeached in May,could be removed from office as well.
Temer’s team is asking the court to judge Temer’s and Rousseff’s campaign donations separately, arguing the responsibility for distributing donations was Rousseff’s.
Documents submitted by Rousseff’s lawyers reportedly include a copy of a check for 1 million reais deposited directly into Temer’s personal campaign funds.
But Temer’s party, the democratic movement says the donation was legal and duty declared before the electoral court.
